ICC-Angkor conducted inspections at nine construction sites in the Angkor resort area

Siem Reap: Experts from ICC-Angkor inspected nine construction sites within the Angkor resort area on March 9, 2024.

The Adhoc Experts of the International Committee for the Coordination of the Protection and Development of Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk Historical Areas (ICC-Angkor and Sambor Prei Kuk), along with the leadership of APSARA Authority, continued their inspection of various construction sites in the Angkor resort area.

The sites visited by experts included Bakong temple, Banteay Samre temple, and the location of the hospitality center at Ta Som and Tonle Snguot.

The purpose of the inspection was to discuss and understand the process of restoration and conservation, and to provide recommendations to the Cambodian expert team regarding ongoing and future work.
